EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION SURVEY

What is employee satisfaction?

What is its purpose?

Employee satisfaction refers to an employee's overall level of satisfaction regarding their work environment, job conditions, management style, relationships with colleagues, wage, and additional benefits. This level of satisfaction directly affects employees' motivation, commitment, and performance in the workplace. Employee satisfaction is a crucial factor that enhances individual's happiness and overall well-being at work while strengthening their loyalty to the company. For this reason, organizations should evaluate their employees' satisfaction levels at least once a year and create action plans based on the results to improve satisfaction.

Why should we evaluate employee satisfaction?

Improved Performance and Productivity

Satisfied employees generally work with higher motivation, which positively affects their job performance. Understanding employees' satisfaction levels is the first step in building an efficient workforce.

Employee Devotion and Loyalty

Employee satisfaction increases lastingness in the workplace. Dissatisfied employees are more likely to seek other job opportunities, and high turnover rates can result in additional costs for the corporation.

Corporate Reputation and Employer Brand

Satisfied employees speak positively about their workplace in their communities. This enhances the corporation’s employer brand and helps attract more talented candidates.

Communication and Solution Orientedness

When employee satisfaction is evaluated, potential issues and areas for improvement can be identified easily. This enables the corporation to build open communication among employees and develop proactive solutions.

How is employee satisfaction evaluated?

Most companies use traditional methods, such as asking employees pre-defined questions in an Employee Satisfaction Survey using pen and paper, then tallying the results and transferring them into Excel for analysis. Depending on the size of the workforce, this process can take up to 15 days.

MOERS clients, on the other hand, provide employees with a link to complete the survey online after customizing the questionnaire for the company. Once employees submit their responses, the Employee Satisfaction Analysis results are uploaded to the system online. Results can also be evaluated separately based on collar type, position, and department. All analyses are supported by graphical representations, and the survey process is limited to a maximum of 1 hour.

In conclusion;

Evaluating employee satisfaction is not only an indicator of employees' well-being but also a reflection of the overall success of the corporation. Regularly gathering feedback on satisfaction levels and taking actions based on these insights helps businesses achieve sustainable growth and gain a competitive edge.
